With decades of experience in professional sports, including three Stanley Cup Championships, the coaches at xHockey Performance break down the physical requirements of a very technically-demanding game. This summer, for twelve intense weeks, we have designed a Midget-only hockey workout program for the first time. Geared to the age group where physical gains can (and should!) be maximized, this comprehensive offering addresses mobility & stability foundations and enables the most strength, speed & power improvements for committed players in the off-season.
This summer, for twelve intense weeks, we will offer a College/Juniors level workout group that focuses on that age and level of play. The group will start on June 1st and run through August 21st from 8:30-10:00am. The workouts will run on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays (Wednesdays are off-days) for a total of 48 one-and-a-half-hour workout sessions. This is for players who are '01's and older, and it is geared to max off-season gains for this high-performance age group. You can read more information here.
We will also be running a twelve-week Midget-only hockey workout program that emphasizes building strength, power and speed for an age bracket where these components are suddenly needed most. The dates of the program are June 1st-August 20th at 5:00-6:30pm. The workouts will run on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and athletes have the option of choosing between 2- or 4-day programs (24 or 48 total sessions).
